H&M Blusher and Highlighter Palette #bangforthebuck

IMG_0273 copyHello everybody! Meet my latest addition to my makeup collection.

Blush and highlighter palettes have taken over the world as of lately but I feel like the high end ones cost a damn arm and a leg! When I saw this in store, I knew I just had to have it.

This palette consists of 3 blushes and 1 highlighter. The highlighter is an AMAZING champagne colour and the blushes are as you can see – a light pink flush, a muted rosey shade and a deep pink shade. (hows my colour description though?)

The product itself is very pigmented and blendable which is amazing. They are such beautiful shades too! The one thing I dont quite love about this product is the packaging that it comes in. Its not sturdy at all, and could damage the product very easily. Although its lightweight, it is definitely not travel friendly as the packaging is made out of cardboard.

It could very easily be damaged! IMG_0277

I got this palette for AED 39 and its definitely a bang for the buck!

Who else is hella excited about h&m’s new beauty range?!

Best Oil Cleanser EVER?

I definitely wear makeup on a regular basis, and with wearing make up comes the removing part of it too. Make up wipes do a great job, but its just not in my alley for everyday usage.. and because I have sensitive skin, makeup removers are not my favourite thing either because it could sometimes be overly drying, which isn’t fun.

Read a lot about The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil and I knew I just had to give it a go! And boy am I glad I got this.

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetThis product right here, made taking my make up off a whole lot easier! Its a skin cleanser that removes impurities and the toughest of waterproof makeup so effortlessly.

Camomile is known to be super gentle on the skin, so team sensitive skin have got nothing to worry about. Being an oil cleanser, it doesn’t really leave any layer of residue on the skin, so people with oily skin don’t really have anything to worry about it (my mom and I have different skin types and she loves this stuff too!). Also, it smells so good!

How I use it:  I massage the oil into dry skin, and then add water or massage over it with wet fingers to emulsify it, and rinse.

Thats basically it. The oil changes into a milky sort of consistency when in contact with water and thats about it, rinse – pat dry and you’re good to go with your skin feeling all refreshed and clean!

If I use this to remove my makeup before bed, I tend to go over with a cotton pad soaked in Micellar water JUST in case theres some stubborn specks of mascara on my lashes. But the cleanser tends to remove everything almost every time so its all good 🙂

This retails for AED 75 at almost all Body Shop stores in Dubai/Sharjah. I would definitely repurchase this because I don’t think I want anything else really. Definitely give this a go if you’re in the market for a good cleanser or makeup remover.

This is my honest opinion on a product Ive genuinely been loving, definitely not paid or sponsored to write this (although I wish I was? har har har)
